I love any task where there is instinct gratification like window washing, washing a car and my favourite of all hovering. I don't know when my favourite chore turned in to my most hated one, but hovering has quickly become the most time-consuming and annoying part of my tidying schedule.
The combination of having long hair, carpets, fluffy rugs and not enough time to do the whole house in one go, I was finding myself hovering everyday, which isn't an option for people with busy schedules.
I have wanted a robot vacuum for a long time because the combination of always-clean floors and having more time is ideal. Vacuum cleaners are expensive in general but realising it would cost me a lot less than a Dyson, I finally took the plunge.
I cannot explain how much I love it. While my little buddy is making my floors sparkly clean, I can be doing some work instead. It is quite fascinating watching it, it's as if it learns the room. My advice is to make sure there are no wires or anything on the floor and just leave it to do it's thing - in a big room it could take it a few goes around to clean the whole floor thoroughly.
There are times I still need to get out my human operated vacuum cleaner because the round vacuum cannot get in to corners. However, now I don't have to do it everyday, the joy of vacuuming has come back, so it's a nice little treat.
And yes, I am aware of how ridiculous that sounds.
I purchased the ILIFE V3s Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner for Pet Hair Automatic Cleaning Robot, because 1. I have long hair and 2. I will be getting a pet soon so may as well think ahead. So if you are in the same position as me or have a pet I would recommend the same one.
