I have hundreds of makeup brushes varying in price and quality, but there is definitely a special place in my heart for certain cheap makeup brush sets I have purchased for under £10. Honestly, I use my cheaper brushes more than I use more expensive brushes (with a few exceptions) - I am not denying the benefits of higher quality makeup brushes - I have holy grail makeup brushes that cost me more than I would care to admit but I could not be without them.
However, the benefits of cheaper brushes are endless
you can buy a spare pack for when you're feeling too lazy to wash all your brushes
rather than spending £30+ on one brush you could buy 3-4 packs of a variety of brushes meaning you have a brush for every single need.
Brushes in the mermaid and unicorn styles below would be upwards of £70 from a higher quality brand.
If they shed (and all brushes do at some point), it doesn't annoy you because you expect it, whereas if you MAC brush were to shed, you may feel some kind of way about it.
If you loose one its not the end of the world.
If you don't like it, you havn't wasted much money.
