Don't Forget About These Holy Grails

In the world of beauty there is always something new to catch our eye, always a new must have for every woman's beauty bag. This often leaves some of the best products forgotten or replaced by a product that had a better advertising campaign or flashier packaging. Upon clearing out my beauty room recently, I came upon so many items that I had, to be honest, forgotten about. In an attempt to see if there were still as deserving of their once held titles of Holy Grails, I moved them from the beauty cabinets to my beauty bag and was delighted to rediscover some of my old and now renewed, favourites.

Moroccan Oil

£25+

The original and best Argan oil hair treatment, a bottle will last you forever and the incredible scent will last all day. Moroccanoil Treatment can be used as a conditioning, styling and finishing tool. Apply on dry hair to tame flyaways, condition split ends and smooth hair.

Smashbox Primer

£26

This oil-free best-seller creates a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A and E, grape seed extract and green tea. Worn alone or under foundation to increase longevity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores for flawless skin with a velvety-smooth finish.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

£24.50

This was a stable in every girl's makeup bag throughout my years in secondary school and beyond. But with contouring taking the beauty world by storm, there are now bronzers for every skin tone and purpose. However this bronzer is still a favourite of mine as it's brown as opposed to orange tone and lack of shimmer, makes it perfect for both contour and all over bronzing.

Anastasia Brow Wiz

£15.50

Anastasia Beverly Hills burst on to the scene with a range solely based on brows. It has since developed in to a huge makeup brand, but she definitely helped start a brow revolution. The ultra-fine tip of the brow pencil creates a perfect and precise filled in look and the brush perfectly blends.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

£5.50

EVERYONE has had this foundation at some point. With the right technique, the right applicator and the perfect skin base, this can honestly make skin look better than any other foundation. Of course that is a lot of requirements for it to work, but the results when it does work are so beautiful I had to put it on this list.

NARS Blush in Orgasm

£24

Okay saying that NARS Orgasm has been forgotten is a push - it certainly hasn't been forgotten and is still hitting the top of beauty lists. However, I have seen a lot of dupes of this beautiful pinky gold blush, most recently Fenty Beauty's Match Stix in Trippin. That is why I have put this blush on the list - because despite the amazing attempts at recreating it (and they are really great) this blush is still the best. It looks good on EVERYONE and the formula is just incredible - it blends in to the skin and gives the most amazing result. So, if you had either forgotten it or replaced it with a dupe, I implore you to return to the best.

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara

£7.69

Nothing, other than perhaps Benefit's They're Real, has really jumped out to me as "the must have mascara" since Telescopic.

L'Oréal Telescopic Mascara features a special brush with a flat side to lengthen lashes up to 60%, and a comb side to separate lashes with precision. Removes easily with soap and water. It gives amazing length with no flaking, smearing or irritation. It builds beautifully meaning you can have a natural look or build it up to a dramatic one.

Do you have any beauty products that you have recently rediscovered - I would love to hear about them in the comments below.
