One of my resolutions this year was to learn how to cook proper meals - basically anything other than pasta. Over the months I learnt how to make a couple of meals and I was very proud of myself, however, it wasn't until I finally signed up to a food delivery service that I realised the importance of seasoning and the joy in making everything from scratch (including sauces)!
Gousto was a service I hadn't heard of and after looking at their meal options I decided to give them a go. IT IS AMAZING! The food is delivered with ice packs and a thermal protector to keep the food fresh during transit (which I have kept in case of a picnic). The recipe cards are insanely easy to follow and the meals themselves were some of the best things I have ever tasted - this may be due to my pride in cooking the meals making it taste sweeter, but I have been informed by others they were incredibly delicious. I think this is down to the fact that the recipes involve a lot of seasoning and additions that take your food to another level. Also the food is organic and anything that is branded is from really good brands instead of basic.
To anyone wanting to learn how to cook or to become a better cook, I cannot recommend food delivery services enough and I can whole-heartedly recommend Gousto. I have filmed me making them and shall put that in the end of this blog when it is up on YouTube.
